3rd March 2015 / Mining photo shoot

I’ve been photographing at this mine site for over a decade, documenting it’s new ventures, technological improvements and transition from open pit to underground. It’s been an amazing journey and a privilege to work with so many dedicated and talented people. Thank you to everyone at Ernest Henry Mine for placing your faith in Through The Looking Glass Studio for your image needs over a such a protracted time span.

It’s great to see cultural heritage being respected. Thanks must go to the Mitakoodi people for sharing their culture and their significant sites with us. Ernest Henry Mine has long been working with the local people to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

13th June 2013 / Townsville Tourism campaign

Our thanks to Tourism and Events Queensland and Stella Baker for a great weekend of North Queensland sun and fun shooting their latest Townsville Tourism campaign. Well mostly sun :-/ Thanks also to Michal for his great videography skills. Despite the overcast conditions on occasions we were still able to come up with the shots.

With such great talent as Jess, Alison, Troy and Stephen and excellent locations like Jam Corner, Cotters Markets, The Strand and The Brewery we were bound to have a great weekend. “hic” :-)

26th March 2013 / Townsville Grammar School production

We got a sneak peak of this year’s Townsville Grammar School production. The very colourful and fun, “The Servant of Two Masters”. This comedy by Venetian playwright, Carlo Goldoni is an absolute riot of laughter and our photographer, Rob Parsons found it difficult to hold the camera steady with all the antics at the shoot :-)
